NREL Executive Energy Leadership Program

Call for Applications

The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) Executive Energy Leadership Program, Energy Execs, advances the understanding of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies and applications by a core group of professionals in Colorado. The program includes six one day sessions over six months. Each session will address a specific technology designed for students with a non-technical background. Classroom sessions will be enhanced by laboratory tours and field trips. Participants prepare a project that could be implemented by their organization.

Selection Criteria

  • Ability to influence energy discussions in organization or community
  • Assurance of attendance at class
  • Commitment to prepare a project
  • Responsible for travel costs to and from class

This program is not intended for vendors or purveyors of energy services.

May 29, June 26, July 31, August 21, September 25 and October 30

Application Deadline

March 18, 2009

Application Process

Complete the application online (preferred) by March 18, 2009. An NREL-established committee will review applications, and if appropriate, conduct informal interviews. Applicants will be notified by mid-April. You may also print the application and mail or fax it.
