A New and Exclusive Carol Dyer Painting Commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the National Archives!
Carol Dyer is an accomplished and popular painter of early American traditions. Authenticity and attention to detail are trademarks of her work, and in this new painting soon to be unveiled, she turns her paintbrush to the happenings on Constitution Avenue in the 1930s when the National Archives was “born.”
“I want people to enjoy the worlds I portray in my work, where they can momentarily lose themselves in the idyllic, tranquil images I have created on canvas with my paintbrush. I want people to read my pictures like a book,” says the artist.
The story told in Carol's upcoming painting of the National Archives Building is unlike anything she has painted before, and it is sure to garner nationwide attention from all those who esteem the home of our nation's Charters of Freedom.
Carol is a longtime resident of the Washington, DC, area and is best known for her “Washington Christmas Series” and many other paintings of historic buildings that have been coveted by buyers and admired by many in the form of giclees, lithographs, posters, and fine stationery. Many of her editions are sold out—consider yourself fortunate if you have viewed one held in a private collection or shown in a few select galleries.
There are a limited number of signed prints available. See below for information on ordering.
