DEA Trains Police on Curacao, St. Maarten, and Aruba (PDF 79 KB)
Members of the Curacao Police Corps (KPC) are participating in a one-week training program offered by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in Curacao. The training covers a wide range of topics including shooting range weapons training, officer safety, investigative techniques and tactical analysis, and legal procedures for intelligence-sharing and extraditions.

U.S. Embassy The Hague Chargé d ‘Affairs Edwin Nolan led a U.S. delegation on an, January 28-31, 2013, official visit to Curacao. The trip served to strengthen the bilateral relationship and to highlight U.S. interests in the region.

U.S. FOL Volunteers Clean Parke Tropikal Zoo (PDF 64 KB)
On 30 January 2013, over 20 personnel from the U.S. Forward Operating Location (USFOL) volunteered for service at the Parke Tropikal Zoo. They cleared a large field to be converted to a picnic area, filling up an entire shipping container full of debris.

On 22 January 2013, over 30 volunteers from the U.S. Forward Operating Location (USFOL) visited Christoffel National Park and cleared 5 bags of trash along a strenuous hiking trail to help enhance Curacao’s natural beauty.
