DOE Hydrogen Program and Vehicle Technologies Program Annual Merit Review Meeting

Principal investigators will present the R&D results of their hydrogen and vehicle technologies work, and future plans to panels of independent experts for review, providing an opportunity for industry, academia, government, and others to offer formal feedback to the U.S. Department of Energy on its activities.

Power Lunch Lecture Series: The Climate Change Crisis and The Role of Renewable Energy By NREL’s Chuck Kutscher

Dr. Chuck Kutscher of the Center for Electricity, Resources, and Building Systems Integration led an American Solar Energy Society study that resulted in the report “Tackling Climate Change in the U.S.” He writes a regular column in Solar Today magazine about climate change and last fall taught “Climate Change Solutions” at the University of Colorado at Boulder. In this presentation Dr. Kutscher will summarize the latest scientific findings on climate change and describe the potential for energy efficiency and renewable energy to achieve large carbon reductions in the U.S. and Colorado.

This presentation is part of NREL’s “Visitors Center Power Lunch Lecture Series.”  Participants are welcome to bring a lunch and enjoy.
