Attendees will have opportunities to expand their knowledge of clean technology, network with industry leaders, share new business ideas, and discuss the future of green technology. This year the conference will focus on the future of energy, transportation, and water technologies.

Clean Technology 2009 brings together over 5,000 technology and business leaders and experts from academia, investment, government, startups, and Fortune 1,000 companies. The goals are: identifying the latest clean technologies and commercial sustainable solutions; driving advanced research insight and best practices; matching buyers and sellers; enabling strategic partnerships; and providing intellectual property licensing, venture capital, corporate financing, and customer acquisition opportunities.

The workshop will focus on how to develop and commercialize innovative technologies as well as on how researchers, scientists, and technology entrepreneurs can interest investors and other business backers in their ideas. It's a program featured at the Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer National Meeting.

The symposium will connect investors with growing or expanding technology companies. Many of the products to be showcased have been developed by or with one of the U.S. Department of Energy national laboratories.

The prime focus of the SolarTech / CALSEIA Summit is collaboration. Participants will define actions that will lead to reduced system costs and cycle times for residential and commercial installations. The ultimate goals are to substantially accelerate the adoption of solar and to stimulate new markets and growth of jobs in the solar industry.

This conference will focus on the role of energy storage on enhancing the value of renewable energy sources, which are usually intermittent or unpredictable. Attendees will represent researchers, energy storage companies, renewable energy companies, utilities, and policymakers.

Focus Topics: Impacts of new technologies on the large scale deployment of residential and commercial scale solar PV systems; new incentives that have improved the viability and business case of solar in the northeast; and new business opportunities and workforce development challenges that can help rebuild our regional and national economy

Come see technologies developed at federal laboratories from across the country. As part of its 2009 national meeting, the Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer (FLC) is proud to present Industry Day.

The FLC will be welcoming members from industry, free of charge, to take part in a variety of sessions focused on the interests of industry. The FLC Tech Fair will offer members of industry the opportunity to meet with federal laboratory representatives from across the country and from every agency as they display their latest technologies.

Panelists will share the stories behind sustainable products that meaningfully integrate social and environmental considerations.

SOLAR 2009 is America’s leading conference on the emerging trends, technology, and opportunities shaping the new energy economy.

Greentech Media and Groom Energy have partnered to create a critical new symposium series, Enterprise Carbon Accounting. Building on the success of Groom Energy's previous seminar held in Boston February 25 this year, this event will answer the major questions facing large corporations and institutions today around carbon accounting.

The NREL Visitors Center will be open on selected Saturdays in 2009!

Enjoy a day of discovery and exploration.  Visitors of all ages are welcome to explore our interactive exhibit hall, enjoy a Science on a Sphere presentation and take virtual tours of our facilities.

Principal investigators will present the R&D results of their hydrogen and vehicle technologies work, and future plans to panels of independent experts for review, providing an opportunity for industry, academia, government, and others to offer formal feedback to the U.S. Department of Energy on its activities.

Dr. Chuck Kutscher of the Center for Electricity, Resources, and Building Systems Integration led an American Solar Energy Society study that resulted in the report “Tackling Climate Change in the U.S.” He writes a regular column in Solar Today magazine about climate change and last fall taught “Climate Change Solutions” at the University of Colorado at Boulder. In this presentation Dr. Kutscher will summarize the latest scientific findings on climate change and describe the potential for energy efficiency and renewable energy to achieve large carbon reductions in the U.S. and Colorado.
