Clean Technology 2009 brings together over 5,000 technology and business leaders and experts from academia, investment, government, startups, and Fortune 1,000 companies. The goals are: identifying the latest clean technologies and commercial sustainable solutions; driving advanced research insight and best practices; matching buyers and sellers; enabling strategic partnerships; and providing intellectual property licensing, venture capital, corporate financing, and customer acquisition opportunities.

Focus Topics: Impacts of new technologies on the large scale deployment of residential and commercial scale solar PV systems; new incentives that have improved the viability and business case of solar in the northeast; and new business opportunities and workforce development challenges that can help rebuild our regional and national economy
 
Who should attend:  State and local government officials, financial Institutions, builders, developers, code officials, economic development professionals and community organizations.

The symposium will connect investors with growing or expanding technology companies. Many of the products to be showcased have been developed by or with one of the U.S. Department of Energy national laboratories.

The prime focus of the SolarTech / CALSEIA Summit is collaboration. Participants will define actions that will lead to reduced system costs and cycle times for residential and commercial installations. The ultimate goals are to substantially accelerate the adoption of solar and to stimulate new markets and growth of jobs in the solar industry.

Panelists will share the stories behind sustainable products that meaningfully integrate social and environmental considerations.

Come see technologies developed at federal laboratories from across the country. As part of its 2009 national meeting, the Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer (FLC) is proud to present Industry Day.

The FLC will be welcoming members from industry, free of charge, to take part in a variety of sessions focused on the interests of industry. The FLC Tech Fair will offer members of industry the opportunity to meet with federal laboratory representatives from across the country and from every agency as they display their latest technologies.
