DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

AGE Refining, Incorporated, San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $27,612,466 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for JP-8, jet fuel. Two hundred eighty proposals were solicited and twenty-six were received. Work is expected to be completed by March 31, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SPO600-98-D-0464).

Hunt Refining Co., Tuscaloosa, Ala., is being awarded an $11,134,179 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for JP-8, jet fuel. Two hundred eighty proposals were solicited and twenty-six were received. Work is expected to be completed by March 31, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SPO600-98-D-0474).

Gary-Williams Energy Corporation, Denver, Colo., is being awarded a $5,302,000 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for JP-5, jet fuel. Two hundred eighty proposals were solicited and twenty-six were received. Work will be performed in Wynnewood, Okla., and is expected to be completed by March 31, 1999. Fina Oil & Chemical Company, Dallas, Texas, is being awarded a $20,613,226 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for JP-8, jet fuel. Two hundred eighty proposals were solicited and twenty-six were received. Work will be performed in Big Spring, Texas, and is expected to be completed by March 31, 1999. Diamond Shamrock Refining Company, L.P., San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $15,777,213 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for JP-8, jet fuel. Two hundred eighty proposals were solicited and twenty-six were received. Work will be performed

Joseph Webb Foods*, Vista, Calif., is being awarded $11,800,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for food and beverage support under the Prime Vendor program. Ninety-five proposals were solicited and five were received. Work is expected to be completed by March 2, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. AIR FORCE

TRW, Inc., Redondo Beach, Calif., is being awarded an $8,416,065 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for hardware and software modifications to the Space Based Infrared System Low Program Test Support Center and the Flight Demonstration System space vehicles required to establish a direct command and telemetry interface between the support center and spacecraft. Currently communications are directed through the Center for Research Support. Contract is expected to be completed October 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. University of Maryland, Asian Division, College Park, Md., is being awarded a $16,393,779 requirements-type contract to provide for undergraduate program education services from August 1998 through July 1999 for United States Pacific Command. The University of Maryland Asian Division will perform this effort at various Department of Defense installations in the Pacific Theater. Contract is expected to be completed July 1999. There were 53 firms solicited and two proposals received. Solicitation began January 1997; negotiations were completed December 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The 15th Contracting Squadron, Hickam AFB, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (F64605-98/D-0003)

Rockwell International Corp., is being awarded a $5,059,146 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 14 line items of spare line replaceable units and associated warranty in support of the Pacer CRAG (Compass, Radar, and Global Positioning System) upgrade program for the KC-135 aircraft. Contract is expected to be completed March 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-96/C-0001, P00042).

NAVY

DynCorp, Information & Engineering Technology, Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $5,533,938 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for operation, maintenance and logistic support of the multiwarfare Southern California Offshore Range (SCORE) at the Naval Aviation Depot, North

Island, San Diego, Calif., and San Clemente Island, Calif. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $54,106,400. Work will be performed in North Island, San Diego, Calif. (80%), and San Clemente Island, Calif. (20%), and is expected to be completed by September 1998. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 18 proposals solicited and one offer received. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N00244-98-C-0018).
