NAVY

Lockheed Martin Corp., Ocean, Radar & Sensor Systems, Syracuse, N.Y., is being awarded a $29,042,828 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-96-C-6216 for program operation and systems support for the AN/BSY-2(V) Submarine Combat System (SCS) and its attendant subsystems. Work will be performed in Syracuse, N.Y., and is expected to be completed in December 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Davis Boat Works, Inc., Newport News, Va., is being awarded a $6,267,412 modification to previously awarded contract N00167-94-D-0087 for continued marine services to modify, repair, and operate new or existing combatant craft. Work will be performed in Newport News, Va., and is expected to be completed in September 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, West Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity.

Wm. G. Tadlock, Inc.* San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $6,008,622 firm-fixed-priced contract for construction of a one-story 3,241 square meter enlisted dining facility at the Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar, Calif. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by March 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 180 proposals solicited and 15 offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68711-94-C-1754).

Raytheon Electronic Systems, Sudbury, Mass., is being awarded a $5,162,003 modification to previously awarded contract N65236-96-D-6800 to provide engineering, technical, management, training, and maintenance support services for Relocatable-Over-The-Horizon Radar (ROTHR) systems. This contracts includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $19,720,703. Work will be performed in Chesapeake, Va. (70%) and Sudbury, Mass. (30%) and is expected to be completed in March 1999. Contract funds will expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity.

ARMY

Oshkosh Truck Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., is being awarded a $27,915,948 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract, to exercise the option for 108 palletized load system trucks. Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wis., and is expected to be completed by July 31, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 1, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-97-C-X159).

General Electric, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $11,549,640, as part of a firm-fixed-price contract for 20 engines (701C) for the Army. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass., and is expected to be completed by Feb. 27, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 29, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAJ09-97-D-0196).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

D. H. Blattner & Sons Inc., Avon, Minn., is being awarded $10,210,075 as part of a not-to-exceed $14,060,052 (total if all options are exercised) firm-fixed-price, continuing contract for approximately three miles of a new concrete entrenchment channel with box culverts, fencing, landscaping and appurtenant features. Work will be performed south of downtown Las Vegas**, Nev., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 9, 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 84 bids solicited on Oct. 20, 1997, and eight bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles, Calif. (DACW09-98-C-0010).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Multi-Unit Chain Distribution Services, Inc.*, Duluth, Ga., is being awarded a $7,150,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for full food line distribution. One hundred thirteen proposals were solicited and four were received. Work is expected to be completed by Feb. 4, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO300-98-D-2915/2916).
