Architect/Engineering (A/E) Procurement This section provides consultants with information on the estimated schedule Central Federal Lands Highway Division (CFLHD) will begin soliciting for renewal of our Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for A/E services. The general process that the Federal Government utilizes is also included on the
"How To" page. Contracts will operate/support efforts in Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Neveda, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. Contracts may be awarded for a performance period of 5 years. During drafting of the solicitation, descriptions provided on this site may be altered.
Notice to Prospective Offerors: Marketing your firm in advance of, during, or after our solicitation and award process does not give any form of advantage for selection of IDIQ or Task Order Awards. As a Federal office we conduct A/E acquisitions in accordance with the Federal Acquisitions Regulation 36.6, Transportation Acquisition Regulation 1236.6 and Transportation Acquisition Manual 1236.6. There are strict processes and guidelines that we must follow for solicitation, selection, and award of A/E contracts.
• Future Contracts • CFLHD advertised for up to three Full-Service IDIQ contracts for A/E services on February 2, 2009. These contracts will primarily involve improvements to low-volume and low-speed roadways ranging from 3R (resurfacing, restoration and rehabilitation) to full reconstruction. Transportation engineering services will include all pertinent highway work needed to conduct planning, scoping, preliminary and final design to prepare contract documents in support of several federally funded programs administered by CFLHD.
