Introduction to Development in the ADE [ As of Task Order 11]

In the AWIPS Evolution, local applications migration is the sole responsibility of the National Weather Service. This migration and any new development will be completed using the ADE (AWIPS Development Environment).

The ADE (AWIPS Development Environment) is a suite of tools and system configurations that facilitate software development under AWIPS II.

This course introduces the ADE, its components, and multiple aspects of the AWIPS II project as it pertains to local application development.
