Jeff came from the NWS Office in Aberdeen where he spent two years as the IT Officer and has worked in both Western and Central Region. During his 8 year career in the National Weather Service he has spent 4 years in operations and 4 years as an IT Officer. Due to this background, he brings knowledge in a wide variety of areas and an understanding of the needs of the National Weather Service field offices from both an operational and IT perspective. Jeff also brings experience developing and presenting training on several topics, including GFE and AWIPS-related issues to members of the local offices where he worked.
