Major
Oceanographic Programs for which NODC has Data
- Argo Daily Data - Argo daily data include real-time and delayed-mode
profiles of ocean temperature and salinity (and conductivity, if any)
measured by the Argo profiling floats.
- World
Ocean Circulation Experiment (WOCE) Version
3 on DVD and an online version of
the same DVDs.
- Texas-Louisiana
Shelf Circulation & Transport Processes Study (LATEX) CD-ROM
Set
- This 5 disc set was produced in cooperation with Texas A&M University.
The major field components taken between April 1992 and December 1994
were moored current meter measurements, drifting buoy data, hydrography,
acoustic doppler current profiling data, meteorological buoy data,
and MiniSpec (directional) and SeaData (non-directional) wave instruments
data.
- Global
Temperature-Salinity Profile Program (GTSPP) - A cooperative
international project with Canada's Marine Environmental Data Service
(MEDS), the GTSPP seeks to develop and maintain a global ocean Temperature-Salinity
resource with data that are both up-to-date and of the highest quality
possible.
