Three People Killed in Landmine Blast on Fist Day of Election in West Bengal

Two poll workers and the driver of their vehicle were
killed by
landmine blast on the first day of election in West Bengal,
India.
They were returning after polls were closed. Authorities believe
that Maoists are likely behind the blast. The Maoists had urged voters to boycott the
election.
