In order to
create awareness about Avian Flu, Voice of America has organized two town hall
meetings in Bangladesh, one in Dhaka and another in Gazipur and also two-day
long training program for the journalists of the mainstream media in Bangladesh.
US Ambassador
in Bangladesh and Information Secretary of the government were present on the
concluding session of the training program.
