January 1, 2000, Is Nearing!
Are Your Applications Ready?

The NIH Computer Center’s system software (e.g., the MVS system)
is year-2000 (Y2K) compliant, but this isn’t sufficient to ensure that your
applications will continue to function.

Please check and correct your programs and third-party software now.

If you are an MVS user, the NIH Computer Center has two Y2K test domains
for testing applications (see Interface articles in issues 203, 207). You can
schedule test time via the Web page at http://silk.nih.gov/silk/year2000.

If you need to consult with someone, call TASC at (301) 59 GO-CIT (594-6248).
