Sexually Transmitted Infections Clinical Trials Group (STI CTG)

What services does this resource provide?

The Sexually Transmitted Infections Clinical Trials Group (STI CTG) is a collaboration of institutions (non-Government link) that work together to identify, support, and administer clinical trials that will contribute to the reproductive health of people and specifically lead to prevention and control of sexually transmitted infections.

The background, diseases or pathogens and syndromes of interest, the broad, public health goals of the research program, and the scientific agendas of the STI CTG are outlined on the group web site (non-Government link).

Where are the services provided?

The STI CTG functions through an administrative and operative core made up of teams from:

  • The University of Alabama at Birmingham
  • University of California at San Francisco
  • Family Health International
