Hagan Named NIGMS Associate Director for Extramural Activities
Ann A. Hagan, Ph.D., was recently named NIGMS
associate director for extramural activities. In this
position, she oversees the fiscal management of
the Institute's $1.9 billion research and research
training grant program in the basic biomedical
sciences. She also advises the NIGMS director on
the planning, development, and administration
of Institute grant activities.
MORE Director Celebrates Opening of American Indian Museum
Clifton Poodry, Ph.D., director of the NIGMS Division of
Minority Opportunities in Research (MORE), was among
a number of NIH employees who participated in
the opening ceremonies of the National Museum
of the American Indian in Washington, DC, in
September.
