The Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Gary Roughead announced today the following assignments:
Rear Adm. (lower half) John N. Christenson, who has been selected for promotion to rear admiral, will be assigned as president, Board of Inspection and Survey, Norfolk, Va. Christenson is currently serving as commander, Carrier Strike Group Twelve, Norfolk, Va.
Rear Adm. (lower half) Paul J. Bushong will be assigned as commander, Submarine Group Two, Groton, Conn. Bushong is currently serving as deputy director, Submarine Warfare Division, N87B, Office to the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.
Captain Vincent L. Griffith, who has been selected for promotion to rear admiral (lower half) will be assigned as commander, Defense Supply Center, Richmond, Defense Logistics Agency, Richmond, Va. Griffith is currently serving as force supply officer, Naval Air Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, San Diego, Calif.
