During Fiscal Year 2004, ConocoPhillips submitted more than 359,000 lines of royalty and production data and paid $153.8 million in royalties to the MMS Minerals Revenue Management.

ConocoPhillips provided quality performance by submitting electronic reports and payments with a royalty reporting accuracy rate of 99.1 percent and a production reporting accuracy rate of 96.3 percent.

This quality performance was underscored by ConocoPhillips’ noteworthy ‎cooperation and responsiveness in proactively resolving reporting, compliance, ‎and enforcement issues.‎

During Fiscal Year 2004, Marathon Oil Company (Marathon) submitted more than 137,000 lines of royalty and production data and paid $84.1 million in royalties to the MMS Minerals Revenue Management.

Marathon provided quality performance by submitting electronic reports and payments with a royalty reporting accuracy rate of 97.9 percent and a production reporting accuracy rate of 98.1 percent.

This quality performance was underscored by Marathon’s noteworthy ‎cooperation and responsiveness in proactively resolving reporting, compliance, ‎and enforcement issues.‎

Marathon is an integrated energy business with exploration and production activities in several countries.  It is headquartered in Houston, Texas.
 

Oil and Gas Reporter - Wexpro Company - Accepting was James LivseyWexpro Company

During Fiscal Year 2004, Wexpro Company (Wexpro) submitted more than 28,000 lines of royalty and production data and paid $26.8 million in royalties to the MMS Minerals Revenue Management.

Wexpro provided quality performance by submitting electronic reports and payments with a royalty reporting accuracy rate of 99.9 percent and a production reporting accuracy rate of 98.8 percent.

This quality performance was underscored by Wexpro’s noteworthy ‎cooperation and responsiveness in proactively resolving reporting, compliance, ‎and enforcement issues.‎

Wexpro manages and develops properties on behalf of Questar Gas, a retail gas-distribution affiliate.  It is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.
 

Solid Minerals Reporter - Kennecott Energy Company - Accepting was Rich NickelsKennecott Energy Company

During Fiscal Year 2004, Kennecott Energy Company (Kennecott) extracted approximately 125.5 million tons of coal from Federal leases in three Western States, and paid MMS a total of $206 million in mineral revenues.

Kennecott was outstanding in meeting the challenges of MMS’s revised solid minerals reporting and payment requirements.  The company’s nearly flawless record for reporting acceptance and timeliness rates and its 100-percent timeliness rate for submittal of royalty payments was achieved by no other company. 

In addition, Kennecott provided noteworthy ‎cooperation and responsiveness in proactively resolving reporting, compliance, ‎and enforcement issues.‎

Kennecott is one of the nation’s largest coal-mining companies.  It is based in the Rocky Mountain region of the United States, with headquarters in Gillette, Wyoming.
