The Governor's Mansion Foundation

The Governor's Mansion Foundation was established in 1982 and is dedicated to the preservation and maintenance of the historic Governor's Mansion of the State of Utah. The Foundation is responsible for promoting understanding and awareness as well as raising private funds for the grounds and interior furnishings, including building a comprehensive collection of books about Utah and by Utah authors housed in the Mansion Library. The Mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and serves as the Governor's residence.

All donations to the Foundation are tax exempt under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, tax I.D. number 87-0415405. The donations will be used to ensure that the Mansion will carry on its role as a showplace of Utah's heritage.

The foundation is a private, non-profit organization that does not receive government funding.
