District News: April 15, 2009 - The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force with the assistance of the Cleveland Division of Police arrested wanted fugitive Matthew Carson. Carson was wanted in the State of New York by the City of Rochester Police Department on charges of 2nd degree murder. The Task Force was notified by Deputy U.S. Marshals in the Rochester area that they developed information which led them to believe that Carson had fled to Ohio and was hiding in the Cleveland area.
