GPO staffers took to the streets of Washington, DC to interview the public and find out how much they know about the FDLP. View GPO's Person on the Street interviews here:

  • What is a Federal depository library?

  • Can you name a Federal government publication?

  • What comes to mind when you hear the word “library”?

As evidenced by the Person on the Street videos, promoting the FDLP to the public is essential and necessary.

GPO designed The FDLP Marketing Plan to empower Federal depository libraries with the tools they need to market their valuable services to all audiences in the most effective way possible.

These videos are now available for you to download to use on your library's site. For each video, we offer three versions; a low resolution, a medium resolution and a high resolution. Each download contains all the files you will need to run the videos via your own server in a zip archive file. A README.txt with directions is also included in the download package.

Download any of the three versions file paks of the three videos that are appropriate for your site.
