The NIH Library now offers access to a new resource: Cardiosource Plus for Institutions. Previously only available to members of the American College of Cardiology, Cardiosource Plus provides a comprehensive collection of online resources for students, clinicians, researchers, and other health professionals.
Cardiosource Plus includes:
- News and expert commentaries
- Self-assessment programs
- Practice guidelines
- Clinical Images (7,500 still, video, and PowerPoint slides)
- Heart Songs
- CME/CE credit
- ePocrates drug formulary
- Clinical trials database
- Meetings on Demand (online lectures from key ACC programs)
- Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC) online.
To access Cardiosource Plus, go to the NIH Library website, click on “Research Tools,” and select “View Databases.” A one-time personal registration is required to access the full content (existing Cardiosource users should use their current username and password). A few premium services require an additional fee and are not available to the institutional site.
