Introduction to the UNT Libraries Workshop & Tour
Workshops will last approximately one hour and will be given in Willis Library, Room 035. There will be a PowerPoint introduction to the Libraries given by UNT Librarians, a brief demonstration of one of the general journal databases, followed by a walking tour of the first and fourth floors of Willis Library.

Finding Books and Articles Workshops
These workshops will focus on using the UNT Libraries catalog and give a more in-depth look at some of the general journal index databases. It will meet in the Willis Library Learning Center (W 136), immediately to the left as you enter the Library doors (not the General Access Lab). It will last approximately an hour, and there will be hands-on applications.

Introduction to Graduate Research
These workshops are open to any graduate students, and will include:
* Hands-on experience with some of the general journal databases which contain many full-text scholarly articles;
* Digital Dissertations, the major database for searching dissertations;
* Interlibrary loan;
* Setting up journal alerts within a database.
The workshops will take place in the Willis Library Learning Center (W 136), immediately to the left as you enter the Library doors (not the General Access Lab). They will last approximately ninety minutes.

Subject Specific Database Workshops
These workshops are designed to help introduce students to the major databases in their discipline. The subjects covered are English, Education, Business, Science, Psychology, and Biology. Open to graduate and undergraduate students, the workshop will be held in Willis Library Learning Center, W136.

RefWorks for Graduate Students
This new workshop is intended to familiarize students with Refworks, the citation management software provided by the Libraries. It will make writing theses, dissertations, and papers much easier, because the program will format the citations in the appropriate style and allow the user to easily insert footnotes .
