Mayor Jerry Sanders is asking for your input as his office begins preparing the Fiscal Year 2010 budget. Like cities across the nation, the City of San Diego is facing a budget shortfall due largely to a decline in tax revenues. This coming year’s deficit is estimated to be approximately $50 million. Which programs and services should be cut, and which should be kept? Your budget suggestions are very important.

City Launches Strategic Plan Webpage
In an effort to further instill accountability for performance, increase transparency, and ensure that the City is working toward a collective vision, Mayor Jerry Sanders is proud to announce a new webpage dedicated to the City’s Strategic Plan. The Plan provides the City with a vision and a strategy for achieving it. The webpage provides information on the City’s plan and includes the mission, vision, strategic goals, objectives, and performance measures of the organization.
