victims of labor trafficking with Katherine Kaufka, Executive Director
of the International Organization for Adolescents, and Florrie Burke,
cochair of the Freedom Network (USA).
Deadline Extended. The National Crime Victim Law Institute, through a cooperative agreement with OVC, is soliciting proposals from nonprofit organizations and institutions of higher education to establish pro bono crime victim legal clinics that will provide direct legal services to crime victims in criminal courts. Please note that this extended deadline only applies to applicants seeking to establish a clinic in Washington, D.C.

Apply by January 30, 2009, for the National Victim Assistance Academy to be held March 1–6, 2009, in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. Continuing Education Units will be awarded to participants for completing the training and pre-Academy assignments.
