Campuses
The UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences has campuses and facilities located across the State of Georgia. The college's three main campuses are located in Athens, Griffin and Tifton. In addition, the college operates research and education centers in each region of the state. The mission of each campus, from Blairsville in the north to Attapulgus in the south, is to fulfill the mission of the state's land grant university: to teach, to inquire and to serve.

Athens
The Athens campus is located in Athens, Georgia, home of the main campus of the University of Georgia. Some 60 miles northeast of Atlanta, Athens is accessible by several highways and interstates and two airports. The heart of the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences can be found on the southern end of the university campus in an area known as Ag Hill. Conner Hall, the administrative center of the college, is located there and is surrounded by some of the finest agricultural research facilities in the country. These buildings provide office and laboratory space for nationally acclaimed researchers in the areas of cloning, crop genomics, food science and engineering. The main teaching campus of the college, the Athens campus is alive with students from across Georgia, the U.S. and the world who gather to learn and conduct research in the fields of agriculture and environmental science.

Griffin
The Griffin Campus is located 30 miles south of Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Griffin, Georgia, and is easily accessible for out of state visitors. Researchers here focus on what has become known as urban agriculture. These projects focus on turfgrass management, ornamental horticulture, integrated pest management, household and structural pest control, water quality and management and much more. Griffin campus researchers also conduct leading research in the fields of food science and safety. In addition to UGA students working on graduate-level studies, the Griffin campus hosts students in two UGA bachelor's degree programs: a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences.

Tifton
The Tifton Campus lies in the heart of south Georgia agriculture. Located in Tifton, Georgia, the campus is the home of the Coastal Plain Experiment Station and the Rural Development Center. Scientists on the Tifton campus primarily focus their projects toward traditional agriculture. These projects include but are not limited to research on Georgia's main row crops: cotton, peanuts, tobacco, small grains, soybeans and vegetables. Tifton campus researchers also conduct leading research in the field of irrigation and global information systems. UGA graduate students work closely with Tifton campus researchers to complete their graduate studies. UGA undergraduate students can earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriscience and Environmental Systems or Agricultural Education on the Tifton campus.
