Public Affairs provides a broad range of services to help you reach your marketing and communications goals, including crisis communications, copywriting and editing, graphic design, media relations, marketing consulting, seminars and training, and Web site development and tools. As the campus-level strategic communications and marketing unit, we also manage the campus Web site, respond to national surveys, and handle Freedom of Information Act requests in addition to a wide array of special projects.

Divisions within Public Affairs include the Big Ten Network, creating high-quality, non-athletic programming aired on the Big Ten Network; Creative Services, providing graphic design and project management service; the News Bureau, delivering research and campus-related press content; and Web Services, offering no-cost Web solutions to campus.
