Taxation Division

Taxation Division is a division of the Department of Finance. On behalf of the government of Manitoba, we administer the taxation legislation listed below through information, compliance, audit and enforcement programs.

 

Taxes Administered

• Retail Sales Tax
• The Health and Post Secondary Education Tax Levy (Payroll Tax)
• Corporation Capital Tax
• Tobacco Tax
• Motive Fuel Tax
• Gasoline Tax
• Mining Tax

The taxes payable under these seven tax Acts are administered under Part I of The Tax Administration and Miscellaneous Taxes Act.
