WELCOME TO THE MANITOBA CENTENNIAL CENTRE
The Manitoba Centennial Centre is a key link to arts and culture in Winnipeg through the following buildings and properties of the Centennial Centre:

  • the Centennial Concert Hall,
  • the Manitoba Museum,
  • the Planetarium,
  • Manitoba Theatre Centre,
  • the Warehouse Theatre,

    Operating under The Manitoba Centennial Act, the Manitoba Centennial Centre Corporation is a Province of Manitoba Crown Corporation.

  • Centennial Concert Hall

    Situated in the heart of Winnipeg’s Theatre District, the Manitoba Centennial Centre features one of Canada’s premier performance venues - the Centennial Concert Hall. Major hotels, downtown shopping, dining and the night club district are all within walking distance. Several fully-serviced parking facilities surround the Concert Hall, which is conveniently located on the city’s major bus routes.

    The Centennial Concert Hall has a number of features that enhance accessibility to meet a wide variety of patron needs:

  • elevators,
  • telephones,
  • ample seating to accommodate visitors with wheelchairs (and their companions),
  • Sennheiser Infrared Listening Aids for persons with hearing impairment,
  • wheelchair accessibility,
  • family washroom.

    With a seating capacity of 2305, the Centennial Concert Hall plays host to a wide variety of events. In addition to being the proud performing home for three of the city’s premier arts organizations – the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and the Manitoba Opera Association – the Centennial Concert Hall provides Manitobans with a vital and living place for the creation and enjoyment of artistic and cultural entertainment.

    Through hosting programming for families and young audiences, Broadway musicals, concerts, speakers and fundraisers, the vision of the Centennial Concert Hall – to be a place where Manitobans and visitors alike may participate and enjoy learning and sharing in our rich inheritance – is realized.

    In addition to serving every need of the concert promoter, the following features make the Centennial Concert Hall an ideal venue for small to mid-size conventions:

  • generous lobby areas with room for 120 exhibit booths,
  • theatre is a premium facility for lectures or conferences, and corporate meetings
