NRCS staff from National Headquarters recently participated in Public Service Recognition Week activities held on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

The NRCS exhibit included 3-D anaglyphs that provided visitors a hands-on learning experience on how the agency uses technology to view digital landscapes. NRCS publications regarding conservation of natural resources and materials about the Earth Team were also distributed.

More than 10,000 persons attended the exhibits, including hundreds of students and teachers on students day.  Deputy Agriculture Secretary Charles F. Conner and U.S. Congressman John Sarbanes were among the distinguished visitors who stopped by the NRCS exhibit.
