PROGRAM PLANNING

Program planning is central to the educational mission of University of Wisconsin-Extension. It brings people together to clarify and develop goals, strategies and action steps to serve the people of Wisconsin. On an ongoing basis, faculty and staff engage in a variety of planning exercises: annual plans of work, multi-year plans of work, and every 4 years the organization as a whole engages in a statewide program planning process that solicits broad citizen input. The Program Development and Evaluation Unit is responsible for supporting these individual and organizational planning efforts through training, resource development and evaluation.

MULTI YEAR PROGRAM PLANNING

Resources from the Previous 4 Year Planning Process - These documents were developed by University of Wisconsin-Extension to aid Wisconsin counties with statewide program priority setting for 2000-2004, a process designed to solicit feedback from Extension stakeholders, partners and other community resources. These resources will help counties that need to begin the planning process right away. Revised materials for the next planning process will be made available by June 30, 2003.
