Figure 2.5 is a bar chart that shows percentages of past month use of selected illicit drugs among young adults aged 18 to 25 in 2002. Past month use of any illicit drug was 20.2 percent, past month use of marijuana was 17.3 percent, past month use of psychotherapeutics was 5.4 percent, past month use of cocaine was 2.0 percent, past month use of hallucinogens was 1.9 percent, and past month use of inhalants was 0.5 percent.
