Inslee Visits the Homework Factory

U.S. Rep. Jay Inslee visited the Homework Factory, an after-school program for children at Ballinger Homes in Shoreline, WA. At the Homework Factory students gather and receive help with homework from volunteer tutors. This program coordinates its efforts between the Shoreline School District and the non-profit social agency Center for Human Services. Approximately fifty children visit the Homework Factory each day. During his visit, Inslee talked withthe students about government, and had the children participate in an election for "Junior President."
