Senior Advisor for Genetic Research, DEM
Current Portfolio/Responsibilities:
Administer the DEM programs in Genetics of Type 2 Diabetes; Inborn Errors of
Metabolism; Cystic Fibrosis; Gene Therapy; and Cystic Fibrosis and Gene Therapy
Centers.
Scientific and financial advisor for the Type 1 Diabetes Genetic Consortium.
Serve as a resource on human genetics, gene therapy, and newborn screening for NIDDK.
Team Leader of the Technologies and Resources Team to coordinate the administration of grants and program responsibilities.
