Purpose
To obtain reports
of NIAID-funded science from NIAID's
Referral and Program Analysis Branch (RPAB).
Procedure
RPAB staff interpret, analyze, and code NIAID's research portfolio and
work with requestors to provide appropriate science reports.
Responding to various requests, RPAB creates reports of NIAID-funded
science for such purposes as responding to congressional inquiries, formulating
budgets, and providing data to help program staff and division directors
analyze scientific topics and trends.
Follow these steps to request a scientific report.
All NIAID Staff
- Send an email request to Contact
for NIAID Staff. Be as specific as possible about the information
you need. Your request should include the fiscal year you want
data for,
the activities to be included (e.g., extramural or intramural),
and the date you need the
report.
- When your report is done, review the results with RPAB staff to make
sure it meets your needs.
RPAB Staff
- Develop a search request. Include selection criteria, format,
and deadline.
- Send search instructions to the Scientific Applications and Information Systems Branch
(SAISB).
- When SAISB returns the report, review it, and
send it to the requestor.
SAISB Staff
- Run reports within 72 hours, sooner if high priority.
