• Kids Run
The Clinton County Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Council will host a Kids Run on August 8, 2009 at the St. Johns Middle School in St. Johns, Michigan. Event starts at 8:30 a.m. Ages 3-12 fill out forms on sight. Cost is $5 per child or $15 for a family. Medals will be rewarded.

• Giving Hope Golf Scramble 
The 11th Annual Giving Hope Golf Scramble to benefit Child & Family Services (CTF's Ingham County Local Council) and their various programs is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, at Walnut Hills Country Club. Teams of four, individual players, sponsors, and volunteers are being sought. For more information call 517-882-4000.

• Children's Trust Fund Board Names Michael Foley Executive Director
The Children's Trust Fund board of directors has named Michael D. Foley of Howell as its new executive director, effective July 6. Foley will be the fourth executive director in the fund's 27-year history.
