@jeffpulver chat is sync. in old days, IRC had lags as bad as twitter. what we're doing now is slow paced but it's sync.our conv isnt broken
@pprlisa ah you bring up something interesting about voyeurism actually. twitter and facebook both are voyeuristic as well and helps usage.
@jeffpulver on facebook, you'd want to see what your friends are up to in an async way, but sync is overwhelming and not interesting imho.
@jeffpulver Yes in our the delay is not huge enough for async. but normal tweets are mostly async during the day.
