CBCF BRINGS EIGHT HURRICANE KATRINA SURVIVORS TO PEOPLE’S INAUGURAL PROJECT
To help celebrate the inauguration of President
Barack Obama, CBCF hosted eight Hurricane Katrina survivors, ages 82
to 100, for the People’s Inaugural Project, coordinated by The
Stafford Foundation in Washington. CBCF also hosted a congressional
reception, a religious service featuring a keynote by Archbishop Desmond
Tutu (left), and an inaugural ball at the Capital Hilton. |
