Yard Sale To Benefit OUTRAGE Youth Group |

OUTRAGE, the anti-tobacco youth group sponsored by the Utah County Health Department (UCHD), has been awarded the President's Environmental Youth Award (PEYA) for their efforts in creating smoke-free policies in Utah County parks. In an effort to raise funds to travel to Washington DC to receive the award, OUTRAGE members will be holding a yard sale on Saturday, May 9th, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in The Pizza Factory parking lot in Spanish Fork (988 N Main St.). |

Car Seat Installation Class |

Did you know that over 97 percent of car seats are installed incorrectly in Utah County? This free class helps parents (as well as grandparents, day-care providers, care-givers, etc) to learn the proper use and installation of infant and child car seats.
Fun and informative, the class lasts about an hour and a half at the Utah County Health and Justice Building in room 2601. This class covers the basics of child passenger safety including: crash tests, correct installation, misuse, height and weight requirements and the different types of car seats.
