Grassley: $200,000 to Iowa from U.S. Department of Justice

  

            WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs has awarded a $200,000 grant to the Iowa Coalition Against Sexual Assault in Des Moines.

 

            The Iowa Coalition Against Sexual Assault will use the funds, in partnership with the National Asexual Violence Resource Center of the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape, to assist dual sexual assault/domestic violence programs in meaningfully assisting rural sexual assault survivors.

 

          “These funds will help provide the Iowa Coalition Against Sexual Assault the resources needed to effectively respond and help victims of violence against women,” Grassley said.
