BUYER HOPEFULL TO RESOLVE FARM BILL

Washington, D.C.—Congressman Steve Buyer announced that the House of Representatives will vote on an extension of the 2002 Farm Bill on Thursday, March 13, 2008.  If the extension is passed, the current Farm Bill which is set to expire on March 15, 2008, will be extended 30 days to allow the differences between the House and Senate to be worked out.

“I look forward to a Farm Bill that will benefit Hoosier farmers and agri-businesses because they need the certainty in the market place,” Commented Buyer.
