Sutton: Federal Aid For Lorain City Schools Helps Entire Community
Washington, D.C. - The Lorain City Schools today received a grant under the Federal Magnet Schools Assistance Program. Congresswoman Betty Sutton, who had previously contacted the Department of Education on behalf of the Lorain City Schools, issued the following statement:
"I'm glad we were able to secure this funding for the Lorain City Schools. This will be a great help for the city of Lorain, because investing in education is vital to the entire community. By hiring additional teachers and updating technology and instructional models, the Lorain City Schools will be better able to serve the students and families of Lorain."
