What to Expect
Individuals or small groups (less than 5 people) wishing to have a guided tour of the Global Health Odyssey Museum exhibits should join our twice-weekly standing tours. Tours generally last one hour and begin promptly at 2 PM on Mondays and 10AM on Fridays. The tours include the Global Symphony media installation, the current temporary exhibit and the History of CDC exhibit. Each tour is limited to 25 people.
Upon entering the Global Health Odyssey Museum, tour participants should wait on the round platform overlooking the museum space. Your tour guide will meet you in this area.
Prior to Visit
- Submit a reservation request. Your tour is not scheduled until you receive a confirmation email.
- Submit a complete list of attendees’ names to GHO Museum Educator, Trudi Ellerman. The list may be faxed (404-639-0834) or emailed to tbothmaellerman@cdc.gov.
- Review driving directions and parking instructions sent in confirmation email.
- Alert each person in your group to bring a government-issued photo ID. Non-US citizens must bring a passport as ID.
