| Description: |
The jockey room supervisor shall: maintain order, decorum and cleanliness in the jockey and scale rooms. Assists the clerk of scales when requested. Allows only authorized personnel in the jockey room. Oversees the care and storage of all racing colors, the jockey attendants. Sees to it that the jockeys are neat in appearance and attired in keeping with the rules when they leave the rooms to ride in a race. With the valet, sees that the proper and correct colors are used. Prohibits the jockeys from improperly entering, leaving or re-entering the jockey room. Reports to the stewards any irregularities that occur. Verifies that all persons assigned duites including jockeys in the jockey room are licensed. |

- All ORC licenses cost $30 for the initial 3-year license, and then $2 per year for each additional license category.
- All "add on" licenses will expire at the same time as the initial license.
- Renewals are processed exacly like the initial application.
Lost licenses are replaced at a cost of $5 per year left until expiration of the original license. |
