ATRS Patch for Vanadium
Compounds: A patch is available for downloading if you will be reporting
vanadium compounds for RY 2000. This patch insures that ATRS recognizes
this category as a metal, thus allowing a submitter to use the appropriate
M codes for reporting as applicable. If you have any difficulties downloading
this patch, please contact ATRS Technical Support at (703) 816-4434 or
atrs.tech.support@epcra.org
(READ ALL FOLLOWING STEPS BEFORE STARTING)
- After you have downloaded the patch to your desktop from
the EPA/TRI/ATRS Web site and stored it in "My Documents"
or on the Desktop.
- If you have already entered data into ATRS2000, go to
step 3, otherwise jump to step 4.
- Start up ATRS2000,validate all the entries that you have
made and create a submission diskette. In effect, you
have transferred your entire current database onto the
diskette. Then,close down ATRS2000.
- Copy the new patch file you downloaded from the TRI Web site
(ATRS2000.DB)to the folder where ATRS2000 is currently
installed THIS WILL OVERWRITE THE OLD ATRS2000.DB DATABASE.
(Usually this will be C:Atrs00 since this is the default
location.)
Here is an easy way to do this:- Right click the Start button on your start bar,
- Left click the Explore option, this will give you a split screen listing of all your folders (directories) on your PC;
- Left click on the folder in which you stored the patch (You should see the patch listed in the right screen as ATRS2000.db);
- Drag the patch from the right screen to the folder named Atrs00 on the left screen;
- Close the window. This completes the action necessary
to apply the patch.
- You can then start ATRS2000 to load to the database new
data or reload data from the diskette you created in step
3.
