Environmental Health Perspectives Volume 116, Number 5, May 2008
Environmental Health Perspectives May 2008 On the Cover | Indoor dust comprises many ingredients: skin cells, fibers, dirt, minerals, pollen, animal matter, and much more. Scientists are now paying attention to another component of dust—chemical constituents, which can be tracked in from the outdoors or shed from indoor building materials and consumer products. Several articles in this month’s Environews look at some of the chemicals in indoor dust, how they get there, who they affect, and whether they might be cause for concern.
