This agreement specifies the manner in which these forests will identify, evaluate, and treat historic properties that may be affected by pack station and outfitter guide operations. The Programmatic Agreement meets consultation requirements under the National Historic Preservation Act (16 U.S.C. 470) for projects that may adversely affect historic properties.

The proposed Programmatic Agreement is available for download (PDF 468kb) or may be obtained by contacting Greg Greenway, Region 5 Heritage Program Manager at 707-562-8854.
