Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen was presented with the Crimefighter Award by RAINN, the Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network, for her support of victims of sexual assault in our community and indeed the country.

RAINN President and Founder Scott Berkowitz, issued the following statement on Ileana's efforts: "Congresswoman Ros-Lehtinen has shown outstanding leadership in the U.S. Congress as an advocate for crime victims. As former co-chair of the Congressional Women's Caucus, she has consistently directed Congress' attention to issues of importance to women generally and victims of rape in particular.
