Forest Offices

The Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest has eight offices in Southwest Montana. All offices are open weekdays, but not on Federal holidays or weekends. All are open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mountain Time, unless otherwise noted.

Directions: Turn onto Mill Street across from the IGA grocery store. Mill Street is a one-way street that goes east of Sheridan’s Main Street (Highway 287). (Mill Street doesn’t cross Main Street.) Coming from Twin Bridges, you’d turn left onto Mill Street; coming from Virginia City, you’d turn right.

The Forest Service office is about two blocks up Mill Street, on the left and across from the city park at the intersection of Madison Street.
